Be Still (Psalm 46)
The weight feels so heavy
Energy almost gone
How can I carry on?
Be still and know that I am God.
Trembling in the yoke
I press for one more yard
The endless journey so hard

The nations rage
Angers burn
Darkness looms at every turn
Be still and know that I am God.
My eyes grow dim
The strength of youth fades away
What will I do in the coming days?

I am not afraid
Let come what may
He is with me all the way

He is my strength
My fortress in the storm
His mercies are new every ‘morn

He rules the earth
Nothing escapes His gaze
He is perfect in all His ways

I exalt Him
