Praise for a Beautiful Day

Praise for a Beautiful Day (a poem based on Psalm 65:8-13)
The morning dawns with skies ablaze,
A song of joy the earth now plays.
The farthest seas proclaim Your might,
As day breaks forth in radiant light.
The mountains stand with strength untold,
By Your great power they rise so bold.
The roaring waves now still and calm,
At Your command, the storm is gone.
The earth is filled with awe and peace,
Your gentle rains bring sweet release.
The fields rejoice, the valleys sing,
All nature bows before its King.
You crown the day with goodness bright,
My path made clear with abundant light.
The meadows clothed with flowers of grace,
Reveal the beauty of Your face.
The valleys shout out their delight,
With fields of grain, they gleam so bright.
The bounty flows from land to sea,
Your endless love sets nature free.
So let our hearts, like harvests, rise,
With grateful praise beneath Your skies.
And every morning, as we see the dew,
Remind us that Your grace is new.
