Summer Breakout (SBO)

Summer Breakout (SBO) is our version of VBS... but so much more!

Join us at Camp Masterpiece! This year’s SBO is set in a summer camp setting. This year we’ll be learning the good news about Jesus via the process of creating pottery. We’ll be learning that we’re chosen for a purpose, uniquely made by the Master Potter, and we'll learn that our Master Potter has a plan to rescue us when we mess everything up! We’ll have a full-on summer camp experience including a chance for the kids to make their own unique piece of pottery! Fittingly, our Outreach Partner this year is our friend George who shares the good news about Jesus in Japan through his gift of creating, you guessed it, pottery! We hope you and your kids will join us for this fun filled week of SBO/SBOJr!

What Campus do you want to attend?

We are one church with multiple campuses. We have a couple of different SBO location options and times to choose from. Kids from all campuses are welcome at all locations. Please pay close attention to the location and time when registering. SBOJr. is for kids that are 4-years-old by August 31 - 1st grade (fall of 2025). SBO is for grades 2-5 (fall of 2025).

We strive to offer a space for as many kids as possible! Due to limited space and that we always sell out, we are only allowing kids to attend one session of SBO/SBOJr. Please feel free to register for the campus of your choice, but please do not register for multiple campuses.

Registration opens to the general public on March 23, but if you register to volunteer, you'll get early bird access starting on March 16.

Volunteer
It takes hundreds and hundreds of volunteers to make SBO happen at all of our locations! We need volunteers like you to lead a group of kids, build sites, assemble crafts, serve snacks, sort t-shirts, work the welcome desk, put bandaids on skinned knees, and sooooo much more. We have a place for literally every person with every skill set. Whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, we have a place for you!

SBO 2025 looks a little different. Since we are one church with multiple campuses, we will have different SBO options hosted at each campus. Please pay close attention to the campus and the time when signing up to volunteer. All volunteers from all campuses are welcome at any SBO.
