I Would Like to Serve

At Grace Kids, we love Jesus & we love to have fun!

Our desire is for every child to realize that pursuing a relationship with Christ is the most exciting adventure they can take. The content we use in Grace Kids is based on the same content that is used in our main service. Why?

We want families to be able to discuss together what they learned in church that week. We encourage parents to utilize our Grace@Home resources to help facilitate those conversations.

What to Expect

What happens downstairs? Kids get to participate in vibrant worship with live leaders and interactive storytellers. They also get to take part in small group time. This time is experiential with hands-on games and activities, and is designed to get kids in the Bible and help them see how it applies to them.

We believe that a fun experience is also a safe one, so your child’s safety is of utmost importance. To ensure your child’s security, a member of our greeting team will start by checking your child in at one of our check-in stations. If desired, we will escort you to your child’s age-appropriate classroom where a classroom leader will greet your child and answer any questions you might have. We have completed background checks on every one of our leaders and they are trained to make your child’s experience the best possible. If for any reason we need you during the service, we will text you on your cellphone. In that case, a leader will be waiting for you at the downstairs Welcome Center to escort you to your child.

Baby Dedications

We want to celebrate and partner with you through our Grace@Home Ministry as you raise your child to be a life-long follower of Jesus. In accordance with the truths of Deuteronomy 6:4-7, baby dedication is a ceremony for parents to publically declare their commitment to raise their child to love God with all their heart, mind and soul and to model it in their own lives. To assist you with that goal, we have developed a pre-requisite Baby Dedication Class to help you get started. Check out the calendar to see when the next class is.

Early Childhood

We believe it is important to share Jesus’ love with even the littlest kids. Our nursery is filled with loving and caring adult and youth leaders who look forward to spending time with your babies each week. In addition to playtime, our babies enjoy a hand’s on Bible story, praise time, and prayer. At three years old, children graduate to our preschool classrooms. In preschool, your kids experience the wonder of the Bible through large group worship and story time followed by small groups, crafts, games and center time.

Elementary

We believe that kids are ready and able to begin applying the Bible to their lives. We also know that kids learn best when they can feel, hear, see, and discuss their lessons. Our large group time and small group time for kindergarteners through 5th graders are designed for kids to learn the Bible through all of the senses. Once a month, we have a live band in Kids Worship. We also have a Bible Bucks incentive program where kids can earn “bucks.” Once a month they can redeem Bible Bucks for a prize for themselves, or they can purchase items to support our missions partners.
