Read Joshua 1
“This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)
Meditate: think deeply or focus one’s mind for a period of time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation.
Do you spend time “meditating” on the Word of God? What does this look like in your life?
What does it look like for you to “be careful to do according to all that is written in it”? Do you have people holding you accountable to do this?
